SPW (Space Port West) is located in Yamaguchi.  SPE (Space Port East) is located in Ibaraki.  These 2 teleports 

offer a total of 16 available 4.5 M TVRO antennas with 1 motion antenna at each facility. Both teleports have a fibre connection to our Tokyo Media Centre that in turn is connected to all Japan’s major fibre carriers.

 

We are therefore able to provide TVRO from any uplink to an Asian satellite allowing content to be turned onto our fibre network and delivered to the US,  Europe or other parts of the world.
